I have an issue with creating tiling normal maps in Crazybump. When I run the filter, it creates a border around the tiled area, ruining the tile with a hard line each time it repeats in 3D. Has anyone had this issue and do you have any ideas of workarounds? I've attached a screengrab of what is going on here.

Looks like the problem is that you're sending an image as a heightmap but with parts around your brick texture all black. Black means low, brighter than black means high. So crazybump thinks you want a protuding block of brick bumps surrounded by a flat area. Garbage in, garbage out!
Here are two ways you can fix this: one is to crop the image before you feed it into crazybump, the other is to fill that black area around your brick with the same repeating brick pattern.
