Currently working on a large-ish project for a module at Uni atm.
The idea is to have a character situated in an environment.
Gonna post up my concepts aswell as WIP's.
Constructive criticism would be very much appreciated.
Think Im pretty much done with the model.
Just a final polish/detail to do now I think.
I'd love to here what you think about it, and what I could improve.
You also have quite some potential in the bot designwise. I think there is too much detail overall. My eyes have no place to really rest. There seems to be quite equal detail everywhere. Some larger areas without stuff around the face would've been great. To counter that you could have put a lot more detail in the face and mouth area, if existing Varying levels of detail can make a lot of difference!
This is the last render I've got of this guy, I have other modules I need to focus on for university. So he's pretty much done as it stands. Going to take everything I've learned while working on this guy over to my new projects.

Along with a rough paint that gave me some ideas for an aesthetic. And a rough floorplan diagram, again just to get some ideas.
Bout 30 mins each.
Work on the hive queen.

Yeah I think that's the main thing I've learned here is to vary the density of the details a lot more in accordance with the design.
