not again ...
There's some awesome guys in Funcom, I'm sure you'll manage - after all, some of you survived Oslo And a big thank you for finishing TSW! working on that game sure cost me some nerves, but great job on shipping it!
;/ I actually accepted an offer from Gameloft 3 weeks ago.
Just unfortunate I had to give my 2 weeks notice amidst a huge round of layoffs.
Same happened to me. Awesome (new job!) and sad at the same time. Sucks when you're the only happy one. Although I missed out on some severance money. Then again having a job beats having a little bit extra cash.

So I currently know of 2 pretty stellar Senior Environment Artists, 2 Junior FX artists, and a Junior Environment guy that were let go.
All looking to stay in Montreal.
So if anyone knows of any studios locally that have any need for some pretty talented and devoted guys, let me know.

She's arranging a job fair for those affected by the layoffs.

That's at least something. Hope there's something there for everyone affected.
