Hello
A topic that often baffles me, and I very rarely have a way around it that isn't just.. have the two elements be seperate and just clip each other slightly.
I'm hoping the title gives it away but I will provide some examples with what I mean just in case.
When constructing a model that has a certain part of its geometry that requires a flat face to join up to a round one, what are the best ways to go about doing this?
For example, this reference image that I took:
The thin cylinder that extends off the wallmount.. it's cap face joins into a side face of another cylinder. This always prevents a problem for me, how do I go about joining these two kinds of faces up?
Thanks very much for your time
