Seen as I finally have time to work on good old game art again I thought I should post my portfolio and have you guys highlight really what it's missing beware a lot of stuff on there is painfully generic
-don't write "mod died soon after i joined". people who look at your portfolio don't necesarily have time to google the mod. so without this text lots of them would think "oh, so this guy worked on a non commercial project". but writing that it died turns it into "oh, so this guy worked on a project that failed".
it's not really like without this info you'd be hiding the truth, think of it more as removing the emphasis from failure.
-lots of screens have problems with blurriness or being low res or lack of anti aliasing is very noticable on them
machine gun looks especially bad, i'd never guess it has 2048 texture.
-i'd just write resolutions of textures instead of scale
Nice start, you definitely need to work on defining material types through your speculars, Wood, metal etc, ATM most of them appear nearly unused. Also avoid block colour, think more about wear and tear too, there some slight scratches, but think about applicational use as well, grease, rust, burnt, fading on worn edges etc.
Also cloth shields seem weird lol, gud luck with it.
A little off-topic but I am pretty sure WW1:Source is still alive, they've been making some good progress lately, infact, they have a different MG08 showcased on their moddb made by someone else.

@mask_salesman, thank's for the advice, and leather coated shields aren't that rare
