Looks totally sick! The face is still bugging me, but it's probably too late to get to that. I love how clean and solid everything is put together, from the hair to the jacket. Stick this guy into an engine with cloth sim (like UDK) and you have yourself a winner.
Looking good, man. I think his smile may look a bit better if you curl the corners a tad more. I also agree with LexTripper in the WAYWO thread about the pose being a bit imbalanced.
From the waist up it looks great, from the waist down it's very clownish. The hip jut, the really thick billowy pants, and then the ultra smooth curvy rubber galoshes. I'm not familiar enough with the original character to know how they solved his lower body, but there has to be a combo of stuff you could add, or shapes you could tweak, to make it seem more serious and less cartoony in shape and volume.
As a start I'd unlock his knee joint so that it is either straight, or has a slight bend. Only obese people lock their knees that far back. In fact I think that is probably the problem with both legs, they are just too locked at the knees.

Maybe just a little nitpick, right hand gesture seems little odd.
Are you gonna do the one wing at some point?
i love this pose... but i feel like there's too much empty space in the image to have it on the folio...
