@dwgagner: I wanted this guy look a bit boofy and brought.
But thanks a lot for doing this mockup i really appreciate it.
Np and yea I figured you were going for broad, he just doesn't read so much broad as he does dwarf o.O. Generally legs are longer than torso's even on big muscle bound dudes. But no worries if you weren't lookin for critique .
yeah, the pants sitting a bit lower than casual, this makes legs look shorter.
I will post some animations soon, maybe it is more clear then.
No i'm really appreciate your critics thanks again
The knee pads are waaaay to small, unfortunately. Look for ref, google has tons of them. I had to model one of them, too and I was surprised how big they are (compared to the 3d modeled ones you see on google)
I think from the waist up he's looking pretty ace, but the legs are definitely those of a dwarf. I sort of assumed it was supposed to be a dwarf soldier when I saw the first post. If you imagine someone being super flexible and kicking straight up, their foot is going to be above their head, even on beefy guys. This fella would wind up kicking himself in the teeth.

And +1 @ dwganger
Post some more eye canday man!
+1 for animations please
Aside from what the others mention, try putting a bit of color in the AO and lighten it, especially the clothes, blacks won't show up like that.
Looks pretty nice rendered in Unity like that.

You're right, this guy was created with some nice 80s toys and action movies in mind.
