I'm thinking she's finished for now.
Latest:
Hey hey,
It's been a while. Figured it's about time to clean up some old work and bring some new life to the ol' folio.
Majority of modeling is done, most Uv's and bakes are done too just optimizing and making some layout changes that will work better with nDo and Zbrush.
Here's a start
-Theme -- riot Tank, turned custom zombie apocalypse BOOM machine. Base structure/texture will be Military. Zombie Apoc will be the custom attributes like the end resulting paint-job and all the "customized" sound-blasting parts.
-WIP will be updating regularly
-Not my concept
-this is by no means portfolio worthy material...yet

Sweet concept, its looking really good cant wait to see this bad boy finished!
Working on the droid pilot.
I think the Pilot is too big...Going to fix it up tonight and start on the DJ cockpit-booth
I liked the useability of F. The shape contributes to the pilot and the vehicle, the pilot will be attached to the vehicle from the waist. I'm starting to work out the ideas for the cockpit/djbooth now too.
Started working on Textures, Here's the first AO & Normal bake!
I'm ditching the pilot, was getting too carried away and it doesn't fit the re-worked theme of the model.
More to come...
quick texture design pass, going to keep ths one and push it from here.
Still no Spec/Gloss fancy pants maps....Really want to hammer out a good base....
Crits please!
This is what caught my eye first...
The long planer boxy panels are too flat. (at the base). Even after baking those hexagons it feels flat. I think you can cut in the panels along the seams. Also dent and warp the flat areas too, this will give it more interest.
hope that helps!
Artist is Aaron Beck if anyone is interested. He's got another bass-tank on his site too, love his robots.
