First, thank you for taking the time to read this post.
Allula is a story that started out as a text based RPG and over time evolved quite a lot. This has been a project in the planning for years now and we're finally ready to give it all a shot. We have the tools available to streamline the development process and protect work, such as fully encrypted Hard drives, Multiple backup sources, onsite, offsite and cloud based backups. This is a serious project for only serious people who want to make a name for themselves, and/or build some reputation and work to display.
While alot of details are still being worked out, we are working on a variety of plans for release, be it though a publisher or privately released. We'll know that for sure once we're in front of a publisher.
This is Royalty based work, and we are targeting individuals with that in mind and interested in working on a full scale RPG project. Allula as a whole is being planned as a form of trilogy taking three different forms to tell the whole story. Classic RPG, MMO and Action RPG. There's no current timeline for the project as we're just getting started, however we do want to take material to GDC next march and start building some interest. We're hoping for a teaser trailer at the very least by then, just something on the announcement trailer level. While I can't give a great deal of details on an open forum, I'm happy to give more details to interested parties.
What it is:
Tales of Allula is a classic style RPG with modern graphics and game play. Based on existing story, the game will feature over 50 hours of game play with epic boss battles, and battle system to rival even the best of them.
Who we are:
We are a team of aspiring developers looking to break into the game industry by building all the concept material and Demo Data and bringing that ultimately to a publisher. We are targeting people who are looking for reputation or to add to their portfolio to give them at a shot at making it into the industry by publisher or independent release, whatever seems to be the better option at the time
Whats the timeline?
Right now, undecided, we hope to have some concept material done by the time of GDC to start generating interest and getting our material into the conference.
What is done already?
Not a lot yet because were still recruiting! We want to make sure we have a well rounded team before we go into this full steam and make sure the whole team is on the same page. Design Documents are in the pipeline right now and being updated as we go.
