Sorry to put this in the general thread, but I figured here would be the best chance for people to notice.
I started using Max 2012, patched and all, but for some reason, Max keeps on delete-ing randomly pieces of models/mesh in the scene.
One such example would be me using the Unwrap UV, and after collapsing it, Max deleting certain elements.
Anyone has experience this or knows a solution? Does Max 2013 have the same issues, or should I revert back to Max 2011?

That's what I'm doing all the time, but sometimes I forget when I'm in the heat of the moment and forget to save after before collapsing my Unwrap, although even that shouldn't be an excuse since so far, for a single piece I had to save a bajillion times .
I know this might not sound a big issue, but to give an example, I finished a rifle that has big and small pieces missing from it, before I finished packing the UV's, so now my UV map and mesh has holes and pieces missing all over the place. Clever placement of 'parts' can solve the issue, but a chicken soup will only heal your broken leg so much in the long run.
Reinstall max completely. Clean install it, so no reg key's ect. That fixed several of my problem's that no-one had ever heard of before.
