Is it possible to use texture blending or multitexturing in maya with a cgfx shader?
So far, I figured out that I could use the layered texture node to blend between two textures, but all the tutorials Ive seen, have then put the output on a lambert material, and I want to use a Cgfx shader... does it makes sense? I tried to get the output from the layered texture node to the cgfx shader node, but it doesnt display the texture. out colour --> Diffuse texture ?
Is there anyother way to blend textures in maya? Or should I just give up using cgfx and use a lambert or phong material?
