Hey polycounters! I have a quick question!
There are several different types of spheres.. Whether it be a natural sphere(See
RIGHT sphere) or a geosphere(see
LEFT sphere). I understand that using a geosphere can be much easier and better for tri count. Hypothetically if using a geosphere was not an option.. What would be the best way to texture the sphere on the right with a tileable texture without getting the twisted seam distortion at the north and south pole of the object?
