Reordering vertices in splines.

So I'm using splines to do some cross sections, and I'm running into a problem. Because these vertices aren't lined up correctly, the cross section button goes all fubar. My teacher showed me a way to fix this, but I can't remember how he did it. Can anyone help me?

select the spline> goto spline mode> under Geomertry Section, click Reverse> done
