Hi guys, I have been working on a 3D tank I designed for an RTS game, and I have come across a problem. I am relatively new to Max, as I have only been using it for a couple of weeks.
The problem is that I inadvertently created a 3 sided face on my model, without even realising til now. It is too late to revert back, I would have to start over. I am wondering if there is a way to convert a 3 sided face to a 4 sided face. The reason being that the final product shows a black area where the 3 sided face is located.

I cannot be certain that the 3 sided poly is causing this issue, so if its something else please let me know

I found a tool called "Re-Tri". I tried it out and it seemed to lessen the black area quite a bit, but didnt fully remove it. What exactly is Re-Tri?
