Hey Guys,
I'm looking to practice rigging and was wondering if anybody wanted to offer up a model I could work with. I'd prefer something bipedal and not insanely complex. I'd also like to have something with a reasonable polycount because I'm not interested in retopologizing for this project. I'm not going to use this for anything commercial, just for portfolio. If you're willing to let me use your model you can tell me some things you'd like to see in it which could help me work with client expectations and I'll of course send it to you when I'm done. I use Maya mostly, so that's what I'd rig it in. If you're interested PM me.
Thanks guys!
Sam

then 98% don't get rigged, the 2% that do are just rigged so that they can be put in some sort of pose instead of the t-pose (if its not done by just moving groups of vertexes that is).
anyhow, I'm gonna say that the rigs generally made here (if) are very crude and simple and not for any purpose other than posing one still.
numbers of course pulled out of my ass, like any producer or game development studio these days
also totally agree with dustinbrown and that also being the reason why I don't ask people for their awesome models.. just scream at the screen that I want to animate them.. nobody listens
Save's the t-pose madness.
I do suggest the SDK thread though. That is pretty good for rigging practice.
