Sup guys.
Figured I'd start posting some of these pictures now since the process is necessary.

This character is meant to mainly be an archer, but I don't like excluding him from the role of melee completely.

So here is the rough WIP this far. As far as the strange muscle structure and more rigid definition in the core and chest, I plan on extending that same style to more of the model than it has now, it's simply incomplete.

Some more work. Developed legs a bit and started separating body parts so I can start detailing. The coloring as of now is just experimental, but was also thinking of a more turqoise/aquatic scheme:
