So here is some production concept pieces I have worked on for robot rising. The game has been really fun to work on and a unique challenge to boot. The games restrictions are a bit... aggressive to say the least in terms of limitations so some of the design gets pushed in ways to work within these particular restraints.
Anyhow...art:
These are some of the player character options you will get in game
I have a weak spot for mechs so I'm really enjoying these. Clean execution and very nice presenation. Only crit on the concepts would be the organic details are a bit hard to spot from time to time. Maybe they should be marked out with some light grey just to break up the elements.
Haikai: Yea I am using sketchup to block out the finalized concepts and then draw over details or other things needed. I freehand all the sketches. It all comes down to speed really, I have to bust out about 12 of these in about a week sometimes week and a half...
Well you already know what I think of all this stuff but...FUCK YEAH!
Rayph concepts so fast and awesome it makes character artists' heads explode on a daily basis. I can't wait till things slow down and he gets a reasonable amount of time to work on a concept...the world may not be ready for that.

The rest of these robots were designed by the other concept artist before I came on board back in april I just did the illustrations for them.
Here is the main character of sorts from the game she is an avatar that helps guide the player through the beginning and has ties to the story
Thanks for stopping by! More to come!
