I modeled a shoe in 3DS Max and was told that Zbrush would be great for adding all of the details i.e raised leather patches and stuff. What would be the best method to go about doing this? How do I get the design I do on one side over tot he other side of the shoe?
Any help would be great.

Zspheres (or especially the topology brush) would be great there as you can draw your topology over the rough shape, and then add some thickness to the resulting skin.
