Got so inspired by the Darksiders Weapon competition that was here a few months ago and after watching BoBo's livestream and seeing his workflow I decided to try it for myself. This isnt related to Darksiders, though, I just sketched out a concept of my own.

So here it is; I feel like it's sort of steampunk-scifi ish. My favourite thing so far is the colors.

Here's the basemesh I've modeled in max. I'm gonna bring it into ZBrush for some surface details and stuff before I move on to retopo and texturing.

Here's an update on the detail sculpt. It turned out okay. Certain things I don't like and some things may not even make sense, but this is just a first time around to get acquainted with the workflow and everything so I'm not putting too much effort into it. Not to say im slacking, though.
