Recaro seat

hello everybody! this is my last creation, a high poly recaro sportster seat. Built in max, rendered with mental ray. I had sculpted some small wrinkles in the leather but i'm just getting the hang of zbrush and i didnt manage to bake out either displacement or normal maps :poly127: and i was in a hurry to finish it, cause i'm selling my stuff on turbosquid. Anyway a game-res is coming soon after i finish my current work in progress. Critique is of course welcome!

Looks sharp! honestly i though they here reference images for a model you intended to do. nice clean render. id like to see how the game rez comes out.

well i guess that's the best compliment i could ever get ha ha ha. I will update soon with the game res once i sort out my baking problems...

Well, I also thought those were reference images. Fantastic work man. Great render by the way; the lighting really shows off all the work you did nicely. The only thing that stands out to me is the plastic shader you have on the back...can't really make out the exact material

well, the back is laquered carbon fiber... I've been working with real carbon fiber so i know it well, and wanted to make a material that works like the actual stuff, but in the end i used a simple material with a diffuse map, and a reflection map...it looked more like the real thing.
