Hi Polycounters, and thanks for reading my help post.
I'm currently a student and everything i've done so far has been more of a learning process to me; but at the moment, have started my final group project six months early to ensure my work is mindblowing and gets noticed haha.
The reason for me making this thread, is that i've made a base mesh and am about to zbrush the anatomy detail for muscle, however when making clothes - do I place this OVER the sculpted base mesh; or do I remodel the mesh into clothes?
so would i
A)
Model the base mesh, sculpt the detail on; make basic clothes then place over
the top of the sculpt.

Model the base mesh; sculpt detail on; take into maya/keep in zbrush and model the sculpted base into clothes armour etc.
It seems silly asking as I definitely am sure its A however its more for a group members confirmation to ensure they all do it the "right" way,
