Hello,
I have an object that I'm trying to create a shader for, and whenever I apply the normal map to it, it breaks the lighting. The diffuse shows, but nothing else. It seems to stop accepting lighting whenever I plug it in.
When I unplug the normal map, you can see the diffuse and spec fine. When I plug in the normal by itself, the object is a flat shaded grey.
In the viewport on high quality I can see the normals just fine, but when I go to render it in Mental ray, it doesn't like it. I didn't change any of the settings at all.
