Hey guys, when applying for a job, what information should you put in the email. I always attached my resume and give a quick overview of myself, should I try making it more personal to the company I'm applying too?
yea you should always be writing a personalized cover letter when you apply somewhere.
edit: From what I've seen people usually just re-paste their cover letter into the email, but I'm sure a brief one or two sentences would be fine as well. As for the email header I think the safe bet is just your name and the position you are applying for.
I would just make the email the cover letter. Only attachment you need is a resume, and include a portfolio link of course. For my cover letter/email, I always kept the same format and just changed a few sentences to make it relevant to the company and position I was applying to.
