What is Time Lost?
Timelost is an up-coming free-to-play First Person Shooter game set in its own unique sci-fi world. The game focuses on tight combat, a dense atmosphere, and high quality visuals. The game is multiplayer only, meaning maximum quality of the game in that regard bringing you pure multiplayer brilliance. Timelost has its own class and ranking system, filled with persistent options to enhance your character with new gear, items, and personalization options. Whether playing as the nimble Scout class or the beefy Tank class, Time Lost strives to deliver game play and visuals on a level that most free-to-play FPS games cant match.
Who is XstreamTech?
XstreamTech has been in the gaming industry for a while now, I personally began my journey through game development by producing a few different series of video tutorials on how to mainly use unreal development kit and various other different game development related software packages and was somewhat successful. Now we prepared to take it one step further and make a fully fledged game, We are looking for a team that is dedicated to the task to work alongside us on making this concept a reality. At the moment we are a 20+ man strong team however we are always looking for people that are looking for experienced members that strive to produce the best content available to join our ranks...
Current Task
XstreamTech is gearing up production for a futuristic First Person Online Multiplayer Game, with an expected release in 2013. Our goal is to deliver a detailed and polished multiplayer experience that will keep people coming back for more which is stylized and unique whilst still creating something that is high quality whilst being sustainable financially. Currently, we are making progress in the 3d, concept and design departments however we are still looking for additional programmers as a priority, We still do have a few open positions as listed below. What have we accomplished thus far?
- Written detailed GDD
We have a 10+ page detailed GDD (Which still has content being added to it) to guide us through development and bring our concept to life the way we vision it.
- Plenty of high quality concept art
We have 20+ pieces of high quality conceptual art with more being added weekly to make visually stunning environments and assets whilst maintaining a constant workflow.
- Proper management
We have a sophisticated management system allowing us to get tasks done with the required workflow fast and efficiently.
- Large asset bank
We have a large asset bank consisting of 100+ models and some of which usually take modularity into account allowing us to quickly and efficiently put environments together .
- Large and consistent team
We have a team of 20+ experienced members who are all active and dedicated to the task and strive to make the best content possible.
What Are We Looking For?Environmental Artists
- Knowledge of UDK and the Material Editor
- Must be capable of modeling from Refrence or Conceptual Art
- Must Be able to create Detailed models and textures
- Must be able to work well with scaling
Animator
- Must know how to rig and animate characters and objects
- Must know how to make high quality animations
- Knowledge of UDK an Animtrees
Cascade/Special FX Artist
- Must be able to create realistic particle system and visual effects including explosions, muzzle flashes,steam and other required particles.
- Be able to work and demonstrate previous work with UDK and cascade
Unrealscript Programmer
- Good Knowledge of UDK and Unreal Script
- Must have a very good understanding of the Unreal Script hierarchy system
- Must have a good understanding of Kismet and the general unreal Script to UDK editor work flow
- Good knowledge in one of the other OOP languages like C++/C#/Java
- Experience with Flash and Scaleform is a massive plus.
Character Artist - PRIORITY
- Must be able to easily create both low poly and high poly character models
- Ability to work from conceptual art and reference images
- Rigging and animation skill is a plus but not required
- Ability to optimize and texture quality character models around the needs of the team
Concept Artist
- Must be able to work with a given art style and easily capture the atmosphere
- Ability to create unique and high quality concept art
- Easily work within a team and their workflow
- Being capable of doing environmental, Character and weapon concepts is a plus

Game Progression
Time Lost is currently in Development stages and have the appropriate documentation such as a 10 page GDD to get us through the development stages and have plenty of concept art and are progressing at a steady pace, that said we are all working hard and strive to create the best content ready for demo purposes. I will be uploading in-game screenshots, concept art and soundtracks below and on our facebook wall which we will be posting regularly...
