Home Artists Looking For Work

[PAID] WANTED - 3D Game Artist

I'm an indie game developer working on a project titled Soul Saga. After experiencing several complications with my 2D art, I've decided to make the game 3D and port my current characters. Here is the 2D images of my game:

Here is a list of requirements I've gathered thus far:

"""
Since these models will be used in a game, they will have to be created in a special way (different from film models). Different parts of the body will need to be broken up into different meshes. This way I can change things like clothes, eyes, faces, and hair styles in the game via code. However, the modeler needs to be careful that there are no obvious lines where the meshes line up.

The following needs to be broken up into separate meshes:

face
ears
hair
eyes
torso
arms
hands
legs
feet

Size will be a very important factor. I need the human model to be 5'8". 5'8" is 68 inches, which translates to 1.72 meters. I need the measurements to be in meters in the source file.

I will use the same base male model for the main character as all other human males, and the human females will need to have the same exact size ratio so they can use the same rig as the males. This size ratio means the length of arms, legs, torso, and head need to be the same, even if the muscle structure is different.

Here is an example of the graphical style I am looking for. This game is of the "Tales of" series, specifically Tales of Vesperia:

The triangle count should be on the lower end (no more than 9k per model). Faces should be detailed enough to have facial expressions and talking movements with their mouth, but not overly complex, as it will negatively affect performance.
It would also be good if there was 2 lower poly versions for LOD (level of detail).

There is no specific deadline, but I would like to see one finished character a month at latest. I will need approximately 7 characters. There may be requests for additional pieces of the models to be created, such as new clothing, hair styles, etc.

Here are examples of the 2D versions of the characters from Soul Saga, my game:

I will be using the Unity Pro game engine to develop the game.

If this is something you would be interested in, please e-mail me your price quote per model+texturing un-rigged (or with a very simple rig for example posing to show how it functions). If you also do rigging, please include a separate quote for the addition of rigging.

My e-mail is mike [[@]] disastercake.com (minus the brackets around @).

Thanks,
Mike
