[Mixamo Contest] Female Knight character entry

Hi! I'm new to this forum...

I decided to enter on Mixamo's contest.

I don't know if I can finish this on time, but worth a try...

I choose the
Female Knight as my entry, and I'd started working on my base mesh... it's a basic model for now, b'coz I still don't have a solid concept yet for my character, but I'll do my best to update it, as it progress later on in the process. Hope you guys like it. ^_^

High five for a good amount of still feminine armor!! =3 I'd love to see some chain mail in there somewhere.

Hot pants armour :P I think thats a first!

Anyways good start so far. I would personally lose the section of the chest armour that overlaps the abdomen area as it would provide a problem for her if she was to pick anything up.

Hi! Thank you for your comments, I really do appreciate your comments guys ^_^ and I'm glad that you guys are a big plus help in building my character...

@Julia-Yes! I'm planning to put chain mail on her armor, so no worry...

    @lotet-
I'm still working for a design for her weapons.

@Di$array- Yes, I'm aware of her chest plate and I know what you mean... Like I said, this is just a base mesh and not the final out come for her final design ^_^, more like a building block process along the run, and I just put those meshes just for a template for her armor, and it will be modified later on the process... ^_^

Hi! sorry if I haven't able to update this thread for awhile... busy with other stuff.
    anyway here's my updates:

I've been working on fixing my main female base mesh and reducing poly count to fit the 15k tris limit, and then working on the parts of her Armor... I'm still in the blocking stage for designing my character...

Hi poly counters!... here's my another screenshot of the progression of my entry...

I decided to do a Phoenix motif for her armor design, and also make her a sexy type looking character inspired from most of MMO Knight and Paladin female character.

It still in progress though, and I'm running out of time :poly122: I hope I can make it on time.

I love those greaves. Really nice. Is there gonna be anything going over her sides? Like a strap or something?

Yes, there will be a straps and pieces of armor on her sides :), it will be applied on the basemesh itself as a sculpt on the Zbrush.

    Thanks for the comment.

Hi all!!... Here's another update for my entry... OK! This will be my final out come for the lowpoly topology for my character's Base mesh...
and now, I'm proceeding to work on the final detailing for her design into Zbrush... I just hope, I could still make it on time.

And here's my own weapons design: set to her Phoenix Armor design...

    The Phoenix Sword:

My idea: The sword design inspired from a Chinese Broad Sword... I decided to make it with twin blades that looks like a 2 wings, and also a Phoenix shape hand guard on the handle.

    The Phoenix Shield:
The shield shape up like a Phoenix, with 3Blades at the end like tail... One blade (at the center) retract for extra offensive add up for close range combat, at the same time for defense :)
