Looks pretty sweet, was Deadpool that cocky in the comics? I only read a couple of editions but I seem to remember it being a lot more dark..... they seem to have gone for a more comical approach

looks interesting, hoping it's not constant pew pew and bang bang quotes though since I can see that becoming quite irritating to hear over and over and over.

With high moon doing the deadpool and hit monkey game I have some hope, but it's a marvel comic based game and I can't think of many in recent years that have been enjoyable and worth playing

Older deadpool was more serious, then they rebooted it and its much more funny and honestly more interesting.

Anyways I cant wait, loved the deadpool stage in shattered dimensions.

I was sold right from the part when he was saying "bang, bang, bang" while he was firing his guns. If High Moon get the right writers and animators this game will be amazing.

I never read any of the Deadpool comics, but I can see them trying too hard with the comedy. Very rarely are games legitimately funny, and when they are, it's usually because of funny looking characters or animation goofs. However it looks pretty sweet and I cant judge till I try it

I like Deadpool as a character, but this crazy boom in popularity over the past couple years has really made the character take a turn for the worst in my opinion. Most of the humor in his books seems pretty forced and cringe-inducing. This image accurately sums up the evolution of deadpool IMO:


Comedic characters who constantly spew witty one-liners always annoy me in video games, mostly because they just end up repeating themselves a million times, and what was funny once starts to get seriously annoying.

Cynicism aside.. I'm going to buy it, because holy shit - a Deadpool game. Also, I'm happy to see they'll be going for a Mature rating (by the looks of it).

Oh hello, "trying too hard" kind of humour.
I found the animations to be pretty poor too. It has that weird off-balance feel that many games seem to have now... I feel like the animation style used in Asurath Wrath would fit the character better...

If you think that humor was not suitable for deadpool, then you haven't read the comics, or understood deadpool at all.
It was what made the game awesome. Yes, It wasn't a civilized type of comedy, but this is deadpool.

NOBODY HERE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT DEADPOOL.
The game was awesome for the fans of Deadpool (such as me). The creators captured the perfect character of him in the game.
Deadpool is not a usual superhero.
He has a dark sense of humor, he makes dirty jokes, and he always, ALWAYS delivers one liners.
Please read the comics, and then complain about the game.
