Eidos Montreal is currently looking for a Lead Character Artist on Thief. This is a full-time, permanent position located at our Montreal Studio.

Responsibilities:

• Support and allocate character modelling tasks among the members of the team;
• Model the game characters according to the game design;
• Create the characters according to graphic references as well as animation, programming and game design constraints;
• Execute the textures in order to make the character credible according to the game story and the artistic direction.
• Coach junior members of the team

Experience and Skills:

• Experience in character modeling with 3D programs and 2D art applications
• Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiologic reactions, corporal language and proportions in character conception
• Excellent understanding of animation
