This is my entry
A Knight that uses relics to attack and protect.
In the struggle against his demons.
His sword has the spear of destiny
And your shield is made of wood of the cross.
He is the last knight protected by God.
This is the concept that I did to guide me.

and I think that's gonna save me time on the modeling and texture
That's it for now
Thanks for the tips Di$array
But I think that I will gonna leave the concept this way for now.
I have a clear vision of how that model is going to be.
I need to make that simple, because I don't have much free time.
Let's start the texture
Having said that...
- Arms need to be a little longer. Thighs feel strange going into the boots. Maybe do something with the sides and not make it so straight. Something else is bothering me. Can I see a side view? The 3/4 doesn't look half-bad though.
- The boots have a strange look in the current sculpt. Kinda blobby for metal. But not a big deal because it could be sold as forged and hammered into place in the texture later. The blobbyness down there just really clashes with the nice hard-surface stuff you have going on the top-half.
- I'd like to see the clothes tattered on the edges and torn like in the concept. If you could pull that off in the same hard-surface way that could look really cool.
- The low-poly has more than enough triangles to convey the current silhouette. I agree with Di$array, get some smaller ticket items on him to add to your silhouette and color variation for later. Reduce the current character tri count and save the extra tri's for that extra touch of secondary items.
I saw your work, and I really enjoyed, I also added you on linkedin.
Do you have an account on cghub?
I made some changes
But I'm not planning to add secondary items for now, or make the clothes tattered on the edges...
Maybe do that with a alphamap after on the tex,I don't know yet
Here are some updates
This is my final image.
I'm happy with the result.
I learned some cool things with this project.
I hope to improve in the next model.
Thanks everyone for looking.
And good luck to all
