okayy after playing metal slug, i was like dammmn it i have to model that tank! so here it is a high poly metal slug tank ... and im also going to make a low poly as well but i just wanted to know how many average tris does a vehicle have in game engine???. -cheers
Wow that tank is looking great! It definitely feels very Metal Slug. It's hard to critique the environment as of yet. There's definitely a contrast between the two, we shall have to wait and see.
ahh XD i havent played all the metal slug series so i dont really know if they have a different tank version... but ill change the tires if that makes it more believable.
Cool stuff, definitely model the tracks as people have suggested. Maybe warp your proportions a bit more too, your vulcan cannon is quite small and I see quite a lot of straight lines.
okay guys so i added some detailing on the bridge... what else should i put in the scene?? after making the scene i will change the tires then gunna move on doing the textures/lighting. -cheers
Sorry guys i kinda took a break doing this project since i have to polish my other 3d models from the upcoming event on Siggraph... i will get in touch this when Siggraph ends.. anyways heres my tron car that i will going to put in my demo reel.

Came out awesome!
Get that animation going like the actual game and this is a winner.

Crits:
The treads seem a little tame, they always looked like chainsaw teeth or claws, ferocious and wild.
[edit: got ninja edited by mark xD, but yeah need dem tracks yo! ]
Quick question, how come the number 14 has geo? Seems like you would put that in the texture..
Edit: Also the letters on the back.
ahh i just wanted to make it pop-out more XD

3d max
what i think is missing is the Caterpillar treads and the front wheels need to be larger the the rear ones.
