I said between 15 - 20 people for mostly drinks, but some people may get food.
I asked for the reso to be under the name "Polycount", but if they don't know what that means like last time, it's under "stefan". I specifically asked for polycount though.
Hey guys, the last one was a good time. I was just wondering if anyone would be down for a meetup in Toronto on the August long weekend? 3rd, 4th, 5th. whichever. Probably the same place as last time, or at least close to there. It seemed to be easy for everyone to get to. Right near union station.
I know a lot of people go away for it, but at the same time, a lot of people don't, and usually have nothing to do because everyone else goes away. And it gives those out of towners more time to get down and back if they want to come join in the fun! Make a weekend out of it, sorda thing.

Now, where shall we do it? Same place as last time. The Scotland Yard Here is the MAP . It is just east of Union Station (2 minute walk). It would be inside. Or, since it will most likely be great weather, we could do it on a patio somewhere? Maybe Jack Astors, which is a 3 minute walk from Union station? It might be harder to get a reservation for a patio though.
And seriously, if you lurkers are thinking about coming, stop stealing bandwidth, sign up, log in and tell us you're coming so we can get a proper number!
Oh well...maybe some other time sir.

Since it appears you guys do this often... I'm actually pretty curious how often randoms show up and if it's as I described.
Monday works like wonders for me.
Ill make the reso at the end of the week, so i can get a better idea of numbers. If you guys plan on bringing people, lemme know how many.
LOL, I'm fucked for this meet-up. The week after, like Aug 11th weekend, would be ideal for me but I understand if you guys want to go ahead on the 4th.

Mentioned it to the 3d game art students and alumni from seneca as well. They all know of polycount obviously.
if any say they are coming, please tell us in this thread as I may need ot increase the reso number if a bunch come.
