Have been working on this "oldschool" M1 Garand for a while.
I would like some strong critic on this.
Its all hand painted except for some brushes i made from textures that i used for grunge. Some textures are bigger then what the are supposed to be if it would be put ingame.
Its not all fully optimized yet i will remove some loops from the sling.
This project was mostly just for practicing texturing not so much for staying extreamly lowpoly.
The gun is 2550 tris
And all together that's on the screen is 4548 tris

odium, i did not think that it would be seen so easy if i scaled some parts up a bit.
Thanks for the replies and i want to say that i realized that its some mistakes in how the gun looks at the back sight.
Yeah old stylish texturing(really good practicing imo).
could be for a low-performance engine which doesnt support specular
