Im playing around with zbrush, and I have a question:
I have a model and I use surface noise on the model and it looks nice, but when I export it to 3ds max the "niceness" is gone and it just look like the model I imported to zbrush.
What to do?

You could also save off a morph target before applying so you can paint it out where you don't want it.
That's just how it is. What you see in the preview is I believe a 2.5
representation of the noise, so when you apply it differs.
Save a morph target apply the noise, adjust the displacement.
