This is gorgeous dude. And doubley successful because I want to play it... Makes me want to be able to walk around and look at everything, which means you did your job!
Hi everybody !
I post an update, I did the skybox, and I continue to fix little things here and there. But it's almost done :poly124:. I'll do one video for the presentation soon.
The sky looks beautiful, too bad it's in the dof
Really amazing environment anyway,
the thing that would make it perfect for me, would be if you added some more colorful foliages (like flowers & stuff, or maybe, just duplicate that nice mushroom with a hue variation)
One of the best usage of the engine Ive seen in a long time. You dont get to see so many stylized scenes on CE3 very often, and I think you nailed the process! Congratulations, you got talent to spades.
Floating rocks = Awesome. This is looking very appealing. I would like to see more of a balance of warm and cool colours in your compositions; maybe some little orange lanterns along that blue path. Keep it up!
Yeah I would say maybe the orange lanterns or maybe just some sticks with fire on the top (forgot what they are called) haha. This looks great and like the other guys have said, you just want to walk around, explore etc.
Hi, I think I finished my environment. Hope you enjoy it !
I added small lanterns in the trees with your advices .
Also, I did a small screenshot about my path on 3ds max to explain my process and my high poly in zbrush.
Really liking this, the color palette and lighting looks both mysterious and harmonic! I only just saw your late screenshots and the video in the other thread and soon I'll go through this whole thread in more detail for sure!
This turned out fantastic! Your sculpting style is really inspiring - a lot of personality without resorting to any fine noise. I really like how solid the forms within each sculpt feel.
Great work, and thank u using Slage as a reference.
I'm the Slage Lead Art and it's very motivating for us to see our game is already seen and appreciated before the release
And it's quite amusing cause a colleague and I already used ur work as examples for a cartoon-style side-project. "It's a small small world" ♫
Omg this is so lovely, your art is great and I really dig it! Would be great to see more single sculpted pieces. This is how World of Warcraft should look like

Straight into my inspiration folder !
Especially HP because I wanted to thank you because I learned cryengine with your dvds.
So I'm very honored by your comment !!
@stxtch : I'm thinking about to do elements in yellow-orange to play the complementary of colors but I'm afraid it gets too overstuff. I'll see
But ye I agree I think something to break the huge blue/green areas up would add a ton.

Can you show us some wires and textures ?
Is it all handpainted ?
Cheereo
what did u do with the branch+leaves sculpt? do u straight bake it to a plane or is there other tricks?
Anyway, like the video! Perhaps give Trackview a shot next time? Also for the stones around the portal, maybe have them moving slightly?
Great work, and thank u using Slage as a reference.

Agreed for the displacement on the rope, but it's really a bonus.
