This armor can be cool, but your sculpt is really dull and the anatomy can be improved ^^. You use the standard brush, do you ? You could try the clay tubes with a small power, building your caharcter with more and more "layers" of flesh, if you see what I mean.
Also, I suggest that you spread the arms and legs. And try to be more accurate with the anatomy, even if you will put an armor on it later.
Moar reference obsercation I say ^^. Keep it on.
Also the side profile of the face looks too extreme where the chin is. I would work on revising the face a bit and bringing the jaw up a little in the side profile.
Also the fingers are too small as of right now. You are doing great though and I look forward to seeing where this goes. Best of luck to you.
@ ambitious_nomad ... thanks for the advise i went back in and moved the knees around and fixed them i think. I also moved the chin line up (it was really REALLY low.. thanks alot for that one) and i beefed up the fingers a bit but i need to drop the body out of dynamesh and actually sculpt them now
The things that stick out to me the most in this moment are the hands and the knees (the knees were pointed out earlier though). Right now the hands feel a bit derpy. I think you could pull the knuckles and fingers out more and elongate the backside of his hand and the palm.
Umm. Maybe a picture will help get my idea across. XD
Also, one of the things earlier on was how someone pointed out how it seemed you were working primarily with the standard brush, and wanted you to use clay tubes. I was going to say the same, and I wanted to say, after that comment, it started looking much cooler! So good job.
@Stoop_Kid ... Thanks! . Ya the hands have not been going well so far I have been working around them hoping that they fixed themselves =P
the pic will help when i feel up to the hands. thanks again
The ears should be a lil bit rotated, as you can see here, the ear is not vertical :
The shapes of the eye and the mouth look strange too on the front view ^^.
@Texelion... thanks i did as you suggested.. attached the head to the bust and then i rotated the ear.
the hands still need tons of love but they are coming aswell
