was locked more then a month ago,
because of that there are no stream updates and i wonder if this is still going on, or is it already done and i missed it
any info would be great
I'm a dick to people who don't think and start stupid threads.
Everyone else handles this kind with kid gloves, which is why we have three 'what should I do with my life' threads a week. If people were treated more sterny for making stupid threads that umpteen people have complained about due to their consistency, the next guys would see that and not do it.
So it's the exact opposite of unneccessary, actually.
I mean why does he think the thread was locked in the first place? Did he not read the last page?
No later then the end of May but should be way sooner then that
Oh rly?
Heh, jokes aside I'm pretty sure the guy was moving continents (not literally, of course, although who knows how much power the wielder of this guide holds), which I'm sure you'll agree takes priority over the guide project.

Not the hero Polycount deserves, the hero Polycount needs!
You should take your own advice and think real hard about what you're really accomplishing because it's exactly that treatment that drives people into not asking questions for fear they're going to be blasted for it. But shaming people into not asking anything doesn't make the questions go away, it just means they don't ask them, and remain ignorant and confused.
Worse yet when you bully people about the "dumb" questions and pretty soon they're going to stop asking the legitimate ones too and then everybody loses. What you're doing isn't just unnecessary, it's counterproductive.
Is that because he won't let anyone help or nobody has volunteered?
It's because he has all of the pages within an editing program that he owns. He has to do the text edits, spell checks, layouts and other design changes within that. The content he gets from the artists has to undergo all of those edits and changes. It's not just drag and drop. Coming up with a clean, concise layout and flows and reads nicely takes time. Why do you think authors take so long between books?

For a very good reason. That reason was not so people can make other useless threads asking when it will be finished.
Let me ask you; you really think they are going to cancel it?
Go do something else with your time dude, it's out when it's out.
Damn, I wonder how Gabe Newell feels.

Wouldn't this be the perfect thing to Torrent and let us share the bandwidth blues?
