I've already seen some threads about what music do peoples likes , but none on what they actualy listen while working.

Some songs are awsome but simply too brutal / speed if you want to stay calm all the day, so let's speak about some good stuff

Sometimes games OST. From Deus Ex HR, to Red Dead, or Journey... too many on my playlist really.

I actually prefer to listen to science podcasts while I work. Radiolab is my fave.

Depending on the mood, I listen to a decent variety of soundtracks while working, as well as some hip hop or mellow beats typically.

Some recent faves for me:

Bastion Soundtrack
Tron Legacy Soundtrack (I can't seem to give this one up, it's epic)
Machninarium Soundtrack
Sword & Sworcery EP

for Hip Hop I listen to various albums, but I must recommend:

Jurassic 5 on Pandora

This produces a solid variety that includes Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Digable Planets, Common, Dialated Peoples, Atmosphere...and many others

For more chill beats I have channels on Pandora for:

Beats Antique, Akiko, Nujabes, Out of this world

I will for sure look into a lot of what everyone has shared here for recommendations. As well, sometimes I simply listen to lectures such as Ted Talks and the like. Cheers

Nothing genre specific, but it has to be relatively simple in build, and has to be (mostly) instrumental. Vocals and complexity are just distractions. It's easiest to look towards bitpop or electronic music, or video/movie soundtracks for this.
