Thought I would give this one a go as well. I wanted to challenge myself and so far this is definitely the most intricate/complicated character I've made.



Almost finished with the high poly, just have to put the finished touches on the fur and stuff.

The fur is a bit too bulbous, and the skirt cloth just don't make any sense

i agree with frell i think the skirt needs more attention, the folds don't seem to really work atm
also the shoes seem a tad big to me and could maybe use some more details (hard to say from that angle though)

nice start! cloth and especially stylized cloth can be pretty tough to sculpt. easiest approach for this stuff is just use life reference, I wrapped a towel around my wast to see how it falls, might be helpful to try.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I redid the fur and the skirt hopefully they look better. Gonna call the sculpt done for now and get cracking on retopo

Looks good.. one thing though -- you may want to soften the abs a little bit and give them a more natural look to them. It may just be the way they're only partially visible by the armor but they're looking a little flat.

Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile, I just started my new job last week which hasn't given me too much time, plus I had to bake this guy a couple times before I got good results. But here's a quick Maya screengrab of the bake. He's sitting at 6331 tris so I have some wiggle room to add some alphas if I want.

This came out really great, the only thing that throws me off about the model is the AO in the beard. I think its a tad too strong. Maybe soften it up a bit, but other than that it looks really nice.
