contrast issue in photoshop

when importing anything into photoshop the colors get lightened for no reason. Placing files, pasting from prt scrn, making pictures, and I didn't change anything. It started acting like this this morning. I had to make a "banner" for a friend today and it really messed with it

I did a master pref reset today by doing ctrl shift alt during startup and it still didnt fix it
