I'm currently working on three different sci fi consoles/panels. all three concepts are from the swtor game. I am finishing tweaking the bake on the first one, the second one im finishing the blockout, and the third one has yet to be started. my goal is to get them all baked first then texture them all.
Second time baking anything before and this ones a lot more complex i didnt realize normal map baking is almost a science lol.

and heres where the first ones bake and wireframe sit, the current low is 1300k
and last but not last for now here is the current blockout for the second piece
Please any comments or critiques are greatly appreciated, im still pretty much a noob lol and have been trying to learn as much as possible as far as modeling high and low, normal mapping/problems with seams and 90 degree angles.
oh and incase anybody is wondering im trying to bake in 3ds using an exploded mesh, RTT and a modified cage
hopefully i can get all of these baked down soon, im excited to start learning how to texture.

The only thing that I can see that bothers me is on the second textured image you posted... the black and white squares at the top? They seem out of place, that may just be me though.
