Hi i been searching around the web looking to see if anyone came with a solution but i havent found it. I was wondering if i could make a terrain with maya and sculpt it in mudbox or zbrush then use that as a terrain and import that into cry engine but i dont want to vertex paint in cry engine I want it in mudbox is there any why to do that or is this confusing i dont want to any other external tools just the ones i mentioned.

Just start where he starts in Mudbox. Should all still work just fine.
