Alright I admit, I was acting a bit brash a couple of months ago, even though other users started it
but I had nothing to do with the recent spammings.
(Think about it, would I have been able to see your posts if you banned my IP?)
I've been ducking polycount for over 5 months, I actually started calling people out to get banned
so that I didn't have to deal with the website.
It was out of sight and mind, I no longer had to be jeered at or have my workflow ruined,
or told the things I enjoyed were stupid.
Reviving a crusty bloodbath from 93' was much better than a fusion challenge, huh?
Despite all of you have said about me, you
fail to notice everyone's toxic attitude toward me, the way they jeered at the way I spoke,
mocked my ambitions, made assumption after assumption, and told me I was never good enough for any studio.
I honestly don't take to kindly to such disparaging remarks, and I will call it out if it's a gun nut or some 19 year old whelp.
Improvement and growth to you people means textures covered in rust and dirt, super normals and gore.
I tried taking all of your suggestions in to consideration on numerous occasion, however
most of them either led to either frustration, working being not produced
or unsatisfactory results.
One can't even the explain simple lapses in communication without being labeled as one that can't take criticisms.
All in all, the website really showcases the mindset of violent video game artists and the meatheads they cater to.
There is no middle ground, the people on that website, they are barbaric and will jump on anyone who opposes their ideals.
I could go on for hours, however I won't,
I'd rather not go back, hence why I went out of my way to get banned.

I always had the impression that you took criticism to mean you have to make hyper real stuff when in reality it seemed that people were simply trying to encourage you to continue to improve your execution. You're art is unique but execution can always be improved and that's all most people were trying to explain.
Learning how to take crits and interpret them is important. You know what's false -- rust and grime and hyperdetail wont improve your art -- but you also know what's true: you need to get better, everybody's art needs work. So take the comments in stride, learn from them, and make your art better. Many artists here are frustrated by the lack of appreciation for anime, stylized, vibrant designs, but nobody else but you is picking huge fights or acting stubborn over it. Dont make excuses, take responsibility for your own actions!
And quit starting internet fights! Geez!
And these guys arent meatheads, we're as big of dorks as you are. Stop the insults!
If you are upset at polycount that is fine... just avoid it... dunno what it is that you are trying to prove. From my experience, people here are kind, they encourage you to move forward, share techniques, talk about general stuff. It's a great place for me. If it doesn't work out for you then i guess "so long and thanks for all the fish." No need to harass other people in the community or call out names and be rude with insults. Just let it be.
This thread is just going to degenerate so I'm closing it here.
