The idea behind this is to have a book club for games every month, one member (with at least 1000 posts or something) is randomly selected to pick one of their favorite games, it is suggested that it is a indy game, hidden treasure/sleeper hit, a classic, or something most poeople have not played, or on sale on steam or something. A discussion thread will be created in general for everyone to discuss. The idea is to get people to try new games and to have fun. I've also thought about having a price limit to prevent people from being left out. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Anyone want to make a script that randomly picks members?

ok. I'll bite. Count me in. Got a few game on my "to buy" list over at GOG.
Also discussion involving the mechanics and how the game works would be useful as a later point of reference.
I'd also like to see Jackwhat's idea made into a podcast.
I like the idea of breaking down how things worked, like some asking how this effect was done, and someone breaking out the emulator and taking wireframe screen shots and making test scenes and what not.
