Hi Anyone who has decided to look at this,
I'm a 3d designer in the UK for the oil and gas industry, and hobbyist game designer...among many other things.
I published my first android game last month (
www.ARTARGETS.co.uk), and am busy working on my second more mainstream game now.
But I would like to have a more visually appealing look more economically since phones have so little spare power, so I figure it is high time I learnt to paint proper textures.
So this will be my progression sketchbook, and hopefully by studying you guys here I will be able to progress and get some good feedback.
This is my first attempts at hand painting textures, and they are a mess, so I didn't bother to worry about tiling, since I just want to get the techniques worked out for now.
