Hi all
So I'm currently working on a female character and I'm just looking for advise on the best way to retopologise.
The way it's setup is I have a nude female as one subtool, Followed by the clothing etc over the top of her.
Should I retopo the separate subtools, then later combine the lower res meshes in Maya etc?
And if I do that, i'd need to reproject the sculpt onto the new mesh, and also the poly paint. That's all possible?

It sounds like you want to get the lowpoly mesh and if that's the case then it really depends on if you want to have the in-game character accessorisable (as in you can take off the clothes in-game). If not then I'd just make the lowres mesh a single solid model for the most part - doing a lowres of each part of the model will include more fiddling around trying to get edges to flow together.
