Ok, I am currently on my Summer break before I go back to University for my final year. We briefly touched on retopology however I have never had the need to do so since Mudbox does a brilliant job of reducing poly counts while keeping good topology. However I am working on a character at the moment and retopology is not working out so good. Its just messy and cluttered. Could people please post some pictures of what good topology should be like, especially around the hips/legs and the shoulders? The only part I can seem to do right is the edge flow of eyes

If you are looking for a very lowpoly topology I recommend you this website, have a look at the models and tutorials:

Every modeler should read it, understand it and live it.
