I can not figure out what these wonky lines are.

I have had the worst time trying to build this model. I was having the problem when I created it from a primitive, so I decided to use a spline, it worked for a while but the second I moved some vertices, the black lines showed up. I tried everything with shading groups, welding split verts, xform modifier, to no avail. If you know what this is, please help.

well i guess you didn't smoothed the thing and it catches some ambient occlusion if you have it enabled in viewport.

Yep it looks like Nitrous being a little over active with the AO. You should toggle off AO and see if it disapears (Main Menu > View > Viewport Configuration)

yeah, thats the way AO looks in viewport, I dont think it even works with the smoothing correctly?

Pretty sure disactivating the AO will do the trick. However, your mesh must be absolutely huge for it to do that. I may be completely wrong, though.

Yep, everyone is right. Thank you very much, I would be so lost without this community. And Prophecies you are right, its a pool and its all scaled for udk, and there is still much more optimizing needed to be done. I will soon be posting this wip.
