Zbrush Transpose Tool Scaling frustraition

I'm new to zbrush, and im getting super frustrated with the transpose tool when im trying to scale an object.

When scaling from one end of the transpose tool, it only scales the object in a very minute amount each time, and if i go past the other end of the tool, it starts getting bigger again.

I've tried extending the tool well beyond the size of the object when i draw the transpose tool line, but it still only scales in the smallest amount, causing me to have to continually drag over and over and over just to scale the object down. Is there a setting somewhere i can adjust to make things scale faster?

If it's scaling slowly even when the transpose line is small, chances are your tool is extremely large in zbrush. Unifying the object (Tool: Deform: Unify) should result in a faster transpose movement

Holly Cow ! Thanks Cyrid for this (already old) answer to justifun problem. You can't imagine the time I spent sliding my mouse to scale too big objects because I didn't know about that. Thanks !

You can also scale once and press 1 hotkey repetedly to repeat last action.
