My Cove (Feedback Please)

Hello everyone, I finished making a cove in UDK, wasn't too difficult I found. But I feel like some changes could be made some improvements to get a better feel.

If anyone could go to the link and give feedback it would be much appreciated.

Hm, the first thing I notice is the colours are very solid. For instance, if you blur your eyes, all you see is aqua and grey. This could be fixed with some better lighting. You could also try vertex painting, to get colour variation in the rocks. what would look great if is you managed to get a darker rock colour where it meets the water to get that wet rock look.

Do you have a reference image for this scene? It isn't very interesting (don't take that the wrong way! But if I were playing a game, and this was a level, I wouldn't find it interesting to look at).

Have you played Dear Esther? It's a valuable reference for you, I think. It's also a good story and experience (though I refuse to call it a game) and has a hell of a lot of good looking vistas.

The thing that bugs me about it right now, is that it's obviously being lit from inside, but I don't see any light source.
