I recently reformatted my hard drive and lost all my bookmarks. But I remember a forum thread on UDK's website that had a general guideline I followed that told how tall and wide certain objects should be in unreal. (Windows should generally be X units above the ground and X units wide. Doors should be X units wide and x units tall etc.) I can't seem to find it again. Does anyone know what I'm referring to, if not does anyone have something similar?

That what your looking for?
For example, standar guy (IronGuard) in UDK at 1UU=2cm is 1,96m tall, using 1UU=1,8cm is 1,76m tall (for me 1UU=1,8cm looks more real).
Keep in mind that Epic likes to make their characters all slightly larger than the average person, so you might not want to use IronGuard as a realistic example.
The defualt setting for UDK now is 1:1 with max, so 1 udk unit = 1 max unit = 1cm
Now the old scale that gsokol posted is still correct but you have to switch to DeathMatch in the world properties > default game type.
